After growing up in the prairies, I spent 17 years in the Greater Vancouver area raising three kids and working in ministry & communications. As I came to the empty nest phase of life I returned to school at Vancouver College of Counsellor Training in order to become a licensed therapist with the Canadian Counselling & Psychotherapy Association. I am also a licensed pastor with the Canadian Ministerial Association. In 2017 our family moved back to Steinbach and settled in the Deerfield area.
I place significant value on being authentic in what I do and in my relationships, and also in creating genuine, well-working therapeutic relationships with clients. The goal of my practice is to help others reach theirs, and become mentally & emotionally healthy in the process. I work using a holistic mosaic of modalities including existential therapy, gestalt, cognitive behavioral therapy, psychanalytic therapy, and art therapy.
Apart from my practice, I enjoy exploring my creativity with everything from art & music to building & crocheting. I also love to read, watch documentaries with my pups, facetime with my kids and hang out with my hubby.
